Arrival The door may be locked upon arrival. Your provider will open the door. We kindly ask that you do not knock, as we are prepping for you and will welcome you in shortly.

  • Before your appointment, please limit coffee and caffeine as they are both stimulating and dehydrating. We ask that you arrive showered, especially if you are coming from the airport, gym, barber or hair salon.

  • After your appointment, please continue to hydrate. Soreness is common after deep tissue massage and/or cupping and will subside.

Hand Sanitizer Available upon arrival for clients and staff; WHO approved formula from KōHana Rum Distillery.

Masks OPTIONAL as of 10/4/2022 for patrons and practitioners. Please bring a disposable or freshly laundered mask, but we will also have some available upon request.

Service Linens Single-use, washed on hot water setting and dried on high heat.

HEPA + UV Air Purifiers Each room has 15 to 30 minute turnover. Windows are opened between sessions for increased ventilation.

Screening Checklist Flu/Covid vaccine within 24hrs, please wait 72 hours due to viral shedding. Reschedule if experiencing symptoms related to cold/flu.

Cleaning We use hospital grade Cavicide to wipe common surfaces, handles, knobs, doors, treatment tables, faucets, toilet, etc.

Disposable Items We use disposable items when we can. To help us reduce our carbon footprint, please bring your own water flask; refill FLOW water filtration station accessible on 1st floor.

Acupuncture Needles Are sterile, single-use, disposable and surgical steel. We follow CNT (Clean Needle Technique) guidelines and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.

Cupping All cups are washed with soap and rinsed with water to remove oil + organic residue then disinfected (hospital grade solutions) and dried before each use.

Privacy + Social Distancing Only 2 people are in each treatment room at any given time (practitioner + patient). In total, less than 8 people are on premises as we stagger appointments and shifts.

Payment Prepaid sessions/packages give us less to physically handle in terms of cash and cards.

Travelers Please make sure there is ample time to arrive on time. We do recommend booking your appointment the following day to ensure no travel hiccups and allow yourself rest after (1) long duration of sitting and (2) less hydration than normal.

  • We adhere to our 36 hours cancellation policy regardless of flight delays.

  • Please reschedule if you are experiencing any cold/flu symptoms upon arrival to the islands.

  • Keeping hygiene in mind, we ask that you shower prior to our session, especially if you just landed. Mahalo!


CANCELLATION & LATENESS POLICIES

  • We are a team of small business’ with limited time slots. Please do let your practitioner know in advance if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment or are running late. We may be able to move some things around, but need communication in order to accommodate.

  • Late means minutes after the scheduled time and up to 20 minutes into session. Appointment may be forfeited and rebooking is necessary. Card on file will then be charged. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals (before 20 minutes) if can, but will usually end on time.

  • We have a 36 hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations or no shows are charged 100% of service fee.

  • Feel free to rebook, reschedule or cancel as needed 36 hrs before our appointment.

  • If you have a package/multiple prepaid sessions, any cancellation made less than 36 hours prior to appointment will be a forfeited appointment. No additional fee will be charged.


gift certificates

If you have an outstanding Gift Card, they never expire, If you are having trouble booking, please email Amy at info@themanoahouse.com.

Please note that at this time gift certificates can only be redeemed with Allyson or Raven for massage therapy; as Amy’s books are filled for the year. Raven will be on leave for 2023 and all gift card should be redeemed before 1/1/23.


MVA - Motor vehicle accident

  • Bring your physician’s prescription to your first session. The prescription aka “script” should be picked up from your doctors office. A prescription is required if you would like insurance to cover your session in full. We collect a $50 refundable deposit, returned when we receive reimbursement. If claim is denied or prescription not present at 1st visit; full service fee is due.

  • Book your (MVA) Auto Accident Treatment Plan appointment online with Allyson Cook, LMT or Raven Moss, LMT. A $50 deposit is held at time of booking. This deposit secures your appointment within our policies of cancellation and lateness. The deposit is refunded as we receive insurance payments; typically 30 days after date of service. If your claim is denied or if you arrive without a prescription, you are responsible for the full service fee (minus deposit).
